Meaning: The final result is

Explanation: ‘It turns out’ usually introduces a result that wasn’t expected; the result could

be positive or negative.

‘that’ can be omitted: It turns out we need a new roof.

Other examples: It turns out I’ll be able to go to your party; it turns out that I won’t be meeting

with him

Similar expressions: After all; the end result is; in the end
